Classroom Assistants
Mrs Southgate and Mrs Rous will be assisted during the week by Miss Katie Seymour who will be working full-time in the classroom. Miss Seymour is a qualified paedriatric first-aider. Mr David Blundell and Mrs Sue Coleman will be assisting part-time.
Victorian Day
Class 2 dressed up and came to school as Victorian children - they all looked fantastic in their Victorian costumes. In the morning the children were taught in the manner of a Victorian primary school with their teacher Mrs Southgate and classroom helpers Mr Blundell and Miss Seymour dressing up too. In the afternoon 'Cecilia' visited the school and the children learned about Victorian etiquette, food and money; the children dipped ink, made peg dolls, took rubbings, and played with Victorian toys.
