Head Teacher, Mr Stephen Young BEd (Hons)
Mr Young was inspired by an English teacher, Mr Preece, who took an interest in an adolescent who was fanatical about sports and showed him that literature was as satisfying as a hard fought win at extra time. He made him believe that the power of education could change lives and shape destinies.
Mr Young still has a passion for sports but he has developed a love of mathematics, story, philosophy, religion, travel and art. He believes that being a head teacher is probably the best job in the country.
