Fundraising with FoSS and Sparsholt Primary School
The Friends of Sparsholt School (FoSS) do an amazing job organising and running various fundraising activities throughout the year for the school.
- FoSS Children's Christmas Fair will take place on Thursday 3rd December in the Memorial Hall, Sparsholt from 2.45pm. Class 5 pupils will be looking after the toy stall - so please support their efforts! If you can help bake or donate good quality second-hand toys, books DVD's etc the children would be very pleased! Contact Kay Borthwick (01962 884324) if you can bake, or Jill Judge (01962 776233) if you can help on the day. You can drop your items off at reception as they will be collected daily.
- Orders for the school tea towel can be placed at reception. All payements must acompany orders please
- FoSS Cake Sale - A big thank you to all those who baked, and to all those who bought - hope you enjoyed!
We made £60.55p. Cathy Yousef's Pheonix cards donated 10% of the profits adding an extra £16. - Madision Heights Night and Auction of Promises raised an amazing £2,078 for FoSS.
A big thank-you goes to the FoSS team; special thanks to Mike Hope, Caroline Day, Debbie Caldwell, and Helen Lay for organising a really fun-filled evening. - Bag2School - Phoebe, Zac, Reuben and Joy help with the weigh-in.

Fundraise for FoSS - visit easyfundraising.org.uk and register as a user
Throughout the year we ask parents to collect tokens from the following:
- Nestle Box Tops for Books tokens - the scheme is launched each September and runs until the following May. Collect the tokens from boxes of breakfast cereals - there is a collection box in the school reception area.
- Sainsburys Active Kids vouchers scheme has finished for 2009 - the 2010 version will be launched later in the year - we would be delighted with any vouchers you receive one this scheme commences.
- The Tesco's voucher scheme for schools and clubs usually runs between March and June of each year. We would be happy to take any you vouchers you have, once the scheme commences in March 2010!
- We also collect The Times and Suday Times Books for Schools vouchers - a collection box should be with us in the school reception soon.
