Be Bright Be Seen - Update

It seems a long time ago when we set a competition for all our children to re-design the school uniform so that those wearing it, would be seen easier in the dark autumn and winter months.
Many entries came back into school in January re-using Christmas wrapping paper to create designs that were either reflective or fluorescent.
Our two Year 5 judges, Emily and Oscar, took a long time to decide the winners from all the amazing entries, but in the end settled for Reuben Yr 5, Beatrix Year 3 and Diya, Year R.
All the children who entered were invited to come along each Thursday lunchtime and transfer their designs onto the real thing!  We hoped to have had a fashion show to share with you all, but here is a little taster of what the children have down so far!

Oscar and Emily are now the school's trained JRSO's - Junior Road Safety Officers. Well done to both of them!

They will be sharing their road safety knowledge with all the children at Sparsholt.  At the moment thay have been showing our children how to use the Arility App on the iPads to visit augmented reality scenes that really brings road safety to life, safely!
