Coronavirus (Covid-19) Updates

1st July 2020

Sparsholt School Update
From 1st June we are able to welcome back children in key transition years – reception, year 1 and year 6.
We are also able to provide care for children who are vulnerable, and children whose parents are critical to the Covid-19 response and cannot be safely cared for at home.
If you do fall into one of the categories and have no possibility to make other arrangements to keep your children safe then please contact the office immediately so we can confirm arrangements with you.
Please confirm with your employer that, based on the business continuity arrangements, your specific role is necessary for the continuation of this essential public service.
All other children will need to stay at home.
The children will continue to be supported to learn at home. Teachers will be uploading weekly projects and maths to the VLE (Reception children’s work will be emailed) with guidance for parents so that the children can continue with their education.  Please do use the website links we have signposted if you need further materials.

Please do remember to follow any Government advice if you or family members begin to show any symptoms. This is being continually updated so please do check that you are following up-to-date advice.

Please share simple and effective hand hygiene messages with your children.

  • Personal hygiene is the most important way we can tackle COVID-19, especially washing hands more; and the catch it, bin it, kill it strategy for those with coughs and sneezes.
