Pupil Governors (School Council)

Our Pupil Governors (School Council) are an essential part of the decision making process in our school and meet regularly to discuss important issues around school improvement. The Pupil Governors consist of children from Years 1 to 6 who are elected into the role by their peers. They gather ideas and opinions of their classmates and share these at their meetings. They then feedback the outcomes that are decided and how it will improve the life of the whole school community.

Every year the Pupil Governors create their own version of the School Improvement Plan based on what is important to them. They meet with our School Governors to present their school improvement priorities. The meetings are expertly chaired by the children, who present their ideas clearly and effectively including outlining the costs involved to achieve their goals.  Please find below a copy of the Pupil Governors' version of the School Improvement Plan.
