Our School Curriculum



The school offers a broad, balanced and enriching curriculum covering all areas of the National Curriculum with the aim of preparing our pupils to become responsible global citizens.  It comprises of the core subjects – English, Mathematics and Science and the foundation subjects – Computing, Design Technology, History, Geography, Art, Music. Physical Education and Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education. In addition, we aim to ensure children are provided with the cultural capital to enable them to flourish and prepare them for life in modern society. Our curriculum actively encourages children to take responsibility for the World in which they live by providing them with opportunities to work together in activities that can help others and bring about change.      

Core Christian Values

Sparsholt C of E Primary School pupils have opportunities to not only develop skills and knowledge in subjects but also to develop life-long learning skills.  Our Core Christian Values of Courage, Compassion and Creativity are reflected upon through lessons and collective worship and also permeate the whole school curriculum.
